Maintenance Technician

Our Tewkesbury based client is looking to recruit a shift engineer to join their team. Ideally you will be electrically and mechanically biased with experience of working in a preventative maintenance background.

Key tasks are as follows:

*Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns
*Resolve facility issues and action repairs
*Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
*Comply to all current and future health and safety legislation
*Carry out/participate in root cause analysis as required
*Ensure PM records are maintained and updated
*Work with site operations management as required to help new and develop, existing processes/equipment

*Flexibility essential
*Understanding of RA's, SSOW & COSHH
*Knowledge of 3 phase power systems
*Experience of compressed air and vacuum systems
*Extrusion knowledge, particularly Welex
*Ability to read and understand schematics
*Motor and gearbox awareness

The shift system is a rotating, working on a 0600 - 1400 & 1400 - 2200 basis with a salary of up to £28k. There may also be a requirement to cover for sickness and holidays.
