MAINTENANCE MANAGER - SUPERVISOR / MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER

**INJECTION MOULDING OR PLASTICS OR ROBOTICS**

An excellent career development opportunity... I'm looking to recruit a driven, Injection Moulding or Plastics industry experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader with excellent leadership ability who is ready to step up straight into an all-encompassing hands on Maintenance Manager role for a tier 1 automotive manufacturer supplying into prestigious OEM's such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Ford and JLR.

COMMUTABLE FROM:

Birmingham, Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Dudley, Lichfield, Stafford, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Walsall, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton

BENEFITS:

  • £32k - £36k per annum DOE
  • 39 hours - Mon-Thurs: 7.30-4pm and Friday: 6.30-2pm

THE ROLE:

As the successful new Maintenance Manager you will take responsibility for the maintenance function with key duties to:

  • Effectively manage and drive forward a team of 3 Maintenance Engineers
  • Troubleshoot and correct any breakdown issues
  • Plan and Manage TPM Schedules
  • Develop a strategic spares list for key equipment
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for maintenance work
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Set and monitor departmental KPI's with the objective of improving efficiencies
  • Identify areas of improvement and cost reduction

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal individual for this position will either be an established Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager or a competent and ambitious Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leader with the ability to effectively take on responsibility for / run a full maintenance function and have:

  • A proven track record of working within a fast paced Injection Moulding, Plastics or Robotics manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Strong man-management and in-house systems experience
  • A dynamic and driven approach, management style - someone who can move the department forward
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Multi-skilled capability - stronger Electrical skill set / bias (desirable)
  • City & Guilds 17th Edition or relevant HNC (desirable)
  • Robotics and automation experience / skill set (highly desirable)
  • NEBOSH qualified (beneficial)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with people across all levels
