Maintenance Stores Assistant required for a Global Engineering/Manufacturing client on an initial 18-month fixed term contract. This vacancy offers a competitive salary plus shift allowance coupled with fantastic employment benefits. As a Maintenance Stores Assistant, your day-to-day duties will include:
Identifying parts and inputting data into a stores system to ensure Inventory levels are accurate.
Relocating parts from various site locations to central stores.
Maintaining and updating the central stores system.
Reject any non-conforming parts, providing justifications for doing so.
Ensuring general upkeep and maintenance of parts in stores.
To be considered for the role of Maintenance Stores Assistant, you must possess the following skills/experience:
Demonstrated experience of identifying and understanding Production Machinery and Spare Parts.
Excellent IT skills and attention to detail for maintaining an electronic central stores system.
Previous experience in using a parts management system would be highly advantageous.
Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance and/or Reach) would be beneficial but not essential.
