An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Planner. The main objective of this role is to work within the Maintenance team providing up front detailed Maintenance planning schedules for the complete Bridgend Site. This position is crucial to the efficient operation of the Maintenance Department where downtime becomes ever more critical to a fully utilised Factory Organisation.

This is the role:

  • Maintain and keep the SAP preventative maintenance plans up to date while developing into the maintenance SAP super user.

  • Develop the current MRO SAP system utilising this valuable planning tool to its full potential.

  • Ensure that all critical equipment is captured in the maintenance SAP plan.

  • Working within the maintenance team to prepare job method statements for all identified tasks. Ensure all are archived on the maintenance share point website.

  • Update all planned and unplanned risk assessments working with the maintenance team ensuring they are archived on the maintenance share point website.

  • Create daily planned work lists, including permits when required for all associated risks.

  • To ensure that planned preventative maintenance and planned repairable tasks are made available to shifts. With these being monitored and recorded weekly.

  • To take ownership of all repairable equipment and develop database for easy traceability.

  • Work with maintenance team to ensure that all BOM’s are correct and updated in SAP.

  • Assist when required with creating and updating drawings in AutoCAD and Inventor.

  • If required to assist in general supervision duties.

This is what you offer:

  • A working knowledge of SAP would be preferable.

  • A Maintenance background would be preferable.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrate a high standard of work and attention to detail.

  • Must be proactive, flexible and thrive in a high pressure multi task environment
