Our client is a leading Horticultural plant producer in the UK. They produce high-quality products to some of the UK's leading garden centres and major retailers.
About the Job
Reporting into Senior Stakeholders, this role involves the day to day maintenance of all machinery and buildings on-site, ensuring that all facilities and equipment comply with current regulations. Further to the day to day maintenance and reactive breakdown repair work, you will manage a small team of skilled operators, ensuring ongoing maintenance projects and refurbishment programmes are on schedule.
Ideal Candidate
You must have a proven track record as a Maintenance Manager in a Horticultural environment. It is essential that you possess recognised certifications and experience to be able to undertake all maintenance for the machinery and buildings within this business. Key areas of experience include; Glasshouses, Conveyors, Potting machines and Mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations is a must, along with the ability to implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules, within budget.
