Maintenance Engineer required to join a global and world class manufacturer in Luton.
Ideally you'll be a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer and ready to join their established team, working a double days shift pattern.
Successful applicants must be apprentice trained with experience working on manufacturing machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and will ideally have suitable engineering experience in grinding, milling, turning, welding, mechanical fitter work.
Only Mechanical Maintenance Engineers and Electrical Maintenance Engineers with manufacturing environment / industrial experience will all be considered.
Salary £39,780 Pro Rata
Working Hours - 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm (Monday-Friday on weekly rotations)

Performing PPM & fixing breakdowns on manufacturing machinery
Support maintenance in requirements
Perform new build / refurbishment of machinery
Liaise with manufacturing personnel to aid the successful resolution of issues
Work with manufacturing improvement teams to continually develop and improve current and future processes
Actively participate and support Maintenance Excellence
Must hold a relevant apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical maintenance or similar.
Experience maintaining grinding machinery would be highly advantageous
18th Edition wiring regulations desirable.
Exposure to PLC systems at a fault-finding level, ideally using Siemens and Mitsubishi.
Experience of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to perform horizontal / cylindrical grinding / turning / milling / welding and brazing.
