A Reliability Engineer is needed to join a food manufacturing business based in Wetherby.
The purpose of the Reliability Engineer is to improve, define and calculate how each product will be manufactured within 2 specific areas; processing and packing.
This role involves dealing with processes from initial stages, including initial design of packaging & equipment to ensure maximum machine reliability and efficiency.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for reviewing these efficiencies regularly, eliminating any waste within the process & improving the process to deliver high quality products.
You will ensure that all site equipment is full maintained at all times and available to run at optimum efficiency with minimal down time.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for implementing production processes and procedures, leading all productivity improvements within daily and project activities.
Ultimately, the aim of the Reliability Engineer is to improve efficiency of equipment and packaging on site, take actions to improve quality and safety on site whilst maintaining optimum efficiency. The aim is to reduce costs where possible.
Reliability Engineer's additional tasks:
*Ensure all preventative maintenance tasks are complete
*Improve preventative maintenance plan to eliminate risk of downtime where needed
*Be the technical expert on all machinery and equipment onsite - providing guidance to peers
*Design of new systems and processes to ensure NPI integration or to improve on existing product lines.
