Maintenance Engineer

Our client is the UK's largest manufacturer of polystyrene products. Due to expansion they are looking for a maintenance engineer to join their already successful team.


· Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all plant/ buildings

· Fault finding and repairing- electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic

· Carry out machine set up and tooling changes

· Carry out first off inspection to ensure quality of product produced after machine set up

· Maintain records of machine breakdowns

· Working in a team environment too assist in quality/ production and health and safety

· Liaise with all departments

· Assist with the implementation of process improvements


Engineering apprenticeship

· GCSE Maths & English

· Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, hydraulic and pneumatics

· Minimum 2 years' experience in a engineering environment

Double days shift Mon-Fri 6.00- 14.00/ 14.00-22.00
24 days holiday Plus bank holiday
Continuous training
