Maintenance Engineer

As our new Maintenance Engineer you’ll be based at our Head Office in Darlington, and we’ll make sure you’re making the best use of your engineering knowledge and experience. It’ll be your responsibility to agree appropriate repair methods and costs with internal and external suppliers for the maintenance of our vehicles. You role will include helping internal staff members with booking requirements; where required, liaising with customers to explain repair requirements, and obtaining required authorisation for work to proceed as well as explaining the timescales involved.

The successful candidate will have City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications relating to Motor Vehicle Engineering, as well as a minimum of 5 years practical experience of repairing motor vehicles. Good oral and written communication skills, along with a good practical knowledge of computers, and general software packages are also required.
