Our client is a Global company who have a requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to work within their packaging department. Working with the Engineering Team leader, you will have fault electrical and mechanical finding experienced within the packaging, FMCG or Pharma industries.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Packaging Equipment)
Contract: 18 months
Rate: £15.85 PAYE /£17.77 Limited Company
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Havant, Hampshire
To provide a dedicated line based engineering support to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of assigned packaging equipment in support of the production targets.
The role will require flexibility to meet the daily needs of the production unit.
To provide a dedicated non-line based engineering support to projects, preventative maintenance and provide cover and support to the line based engineering crafts-person.
Ensure that all operational, engineering (set up sheets, validation parameters and maintenance documentation etc) quality and safety procedures are followed in compliance with site and corporate standards.
Actively participate in the development and implementation of Operational Excellence activities to improve line performance and maintainability in accordance with production targets and site vision.
Deliver training and coaching of operators and other engineering crafts persons as required enhancing the skills base.
Assist to ensure production continuity as required.
Recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Post training experience, preferably from within a FMCG or Pharmaceutical packaging environment.
