Due to expansion he company is looking for a mechanically biased engineering professional to develop into a production maintenance engineer based within their Milton Keynes manufacturing operation.
The role will involve the mechanical maintenance of the company's manufacturing equipment, servicing and maintaining the machines to ensure that breakdowns are minimal and that production is maintained at optimum levels at all time.
You will join a team of experienced professionals and the company will provide a structured training program so that you will be become an expert on their equipment The company is involved in high speed manufacturing in a non-food environment and currently the successful candidate will work from 8-4.30, Monday to Thursday with a 3.30 finish on Friday. There may be occasional requirements to visit the company's other manufacturing sites within the South East, but for the moment you will be based at Milton Keynes.
To be considered the company is looking for:
* A recognised qualification in mechanical or possibly electrical engineering
* Exposure to a manufacturing environment ideally having had some experience in mechanical maintenance engineering
* Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems, 17th edition is a distinct advantage
* A flexible attitude and wiillingness to learn is essential
This role may suit an established buildings maintenance engineer who is looking to transition to a production / manufacturing enviroment.
