Our client are urgently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing, reputable company, who are a leader in their field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintenance of factory equipment and site facilities
Undertaking planned and preventative maintenance
Investigate failures and complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime
Carry out installations, refurbishment and commissioning of mechanical plant to specification
Inspect, repair, install and test mechanical equipment ensuring mandatory legislative requirements are met
Maintain an inventory of spares and materials
Ensure completion of required documentation
Implement and maintain company procedures at all times
Sound knowledge and experience of mechanical fitting
Recognised level 4 Engineering Qualification/Advanced Apprenticeship
MIG Welding experience
Ability to read and construct from technical drawings
Ability to demonstrate good working mechanical practices and maintain high standards of work
Able to use tools such as drills, lathes, milling equipment, measuring equipment etc.
Hours of work: 7.45am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday / 7.30am-12.30pm Friday
