MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (LEAK DETECTION) - NORTHAMPTON/ ST NEOTS - PERM - SALARY UP TO £30K
Are you an experienced maintenance engineer that boasts a strong electrical and mechanical background?
My client is leading the way in refrigeration controls, refrigeration leak detection and energy reduction initiatives.
My client is seeking an experienced self-starter who has a real passion for Engineering.
Visiting customer's premises to undertake service, maintenance and also installation of specialised refrigerant gas leak monitoring equipment (This equipment is installed extensively throughout the UK in supermarkets, cold storage facilities, food processing companies and commercial facilities, ships);
Control panel wiring, on site modification and fault finding;
Planned preventative maintenance of refrigerant leak detection equipment;
Fault finding / service support of refrigerant leak detection systems and ancillary equipment;
Commission and test refrigerant leak detection systems together with ancillary, communications and alarm activation systems;
Provide training to customers and their representatives on refrigerant leak detection systems.
The ideal Engineer will have the following skills:
Previous experience of conducted field-based installation, service and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic equipment, e.g.: smoke/fire/security alarm systems, commercial catering equipment, general production equipment, test and laboratory equipment.
Basic electrical knowledge is required (C&G 17th Ed. qualification would be advantageous, although not essential);
Computer literacy (MS Office, Emails) essential;
Good communication skills both verbal and written;
Company Share Options, Healthcare , Pension and Holiday (28 days)
You should be expected to work away from home on the odd occassion, however this will happen very rarely.
