Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join an FMCG manufacturing site.
Your new company
You will be working for a key business in their industry who supply own brand products to major retailers across the UK. You will be working from their busy manufacturing site and a key part of their on-site engineering team.
Your new role
Working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer your main focus will be working across reactive breakdowns and proactive maintenance on a range of equipment from more mature but fit for purpose machinery through to a wide range of modern PLC controlled machinery. The day to day role will involve fault finding, PLC diagnostics, completing PPM schedules and undertaking a range of functions including motor changes, relays and heat probes. The business has a constant drive towards continuous improvement and you will have an opportunity to work on CI projects throughout the site.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced Electrically biased Engineer who holds 17th Edition and has recent experience working in an FMCG manufacturing site; it would help if you have some mechanical skills as well to assist in other areas.
What you'll get in return
You will be working on a two shift system (05:45 to 14:30 and 14:45 to 22:30) across Monday to Friday, overtime is readily available and is paid at enhanced rates of pay. You will be reporting into an Engineering Manager who has brought around a good amount of change recently within the team and as such is able to offer opportunities to get involved in other projects as well as the day to day role.
