Shift Pattern & Salary:

4 on 4 off - days & nights - £42,000 per annum

The Profile:

The successful Maintenance Engineer in this role will have to have a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification e.g. BTEC, NVQ, HNC or equivalent.

It is ideal if the Maintenance Engineer has previously worked in the food environment however this isn’t a deal breaker. If you have worked in environments that are fast paced and have a lot of conveyor equipment you should adapt well!

The Role:

As Maintenance Engineer you will be working within a team responsible for:

  • Responding quickly and calmly to breakdown situations, trying to ensure minimum downtime
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance of new and existing equipment such as: conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment and cooling systems.
  • Fault finding on PLC’s like Siemens, Allan Bradley and Mitsubishi. If you’re able to plug in a laptop and re-jig a thing or two to improve performance that’s a bonus.
