Maintenance Carpenter - London - Large Universisty - Temporary - Up to £15.00 per hour
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider based in London. I am currently recruiting for a Carpenter (Multi-trader) to work in a large univerisity.
The post's duties will mainly consist of preventative and reactive maintenance, installation within the Universities building. A flexible attitude to work is required as you will be expected to carry out minor tasks (I.e. General fabric work, assisting other tradesman.
The successful candidate will be carpentry biased and essentially have City & Guilds level 3 in carpentry.This is a static position and the maintenance team carry out various types of repairs and maintenance. In return the company offer a competitive hourly rate up to £15.00 per hour with the possibility of being offered a permanent position within the maintenance team and the opportunity of further training and career progression.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key duties & responsibilities
- But Predominantly repair, for example-
- Replacement of door and window furniture/ironmongery
- Door adjustments
- General woodwork
- Basic fabric duties
- Carpentry qualified - City & Guilds or NVQ Carpenrty
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to start at short notice
