Maintenace engineer electrical bias

The Job: - Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased)

Hours: - 40hrs per week 4 on 4 off (Days)

Salary: - Competitive

Permanent position

Location:- Norfolk

Commutable from: - Norwich, Fakenham, Swaffham, Wymondham, Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn

My client is a leading Food manufacturer based in Norfolk. They are currently looking for a new electrically biased multi-skilled engineer to join them due to growth within the production facility.

Previous experience with high volume manufacturing preferable with a degree education or time served apprentice trained.

The job

You will provide high end technical support across the manufacturing function of the business reporting in to the engineering manager you're day to day will be maintaining production, carrying out PPM as well as being reactive to any breakdowns as and when they happen.

Ensure planned maintenance is carried out on time to a very high standard.
Liaise with Production, supply chain and management to minimise disruption to manufacturing
Ensure H&s is adhered to and followed across site

The candidate

As a multi skilled engineer you will be educated to at least HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering and hold a 17th edition.

You will have a wide range of engineering skills and be able to put your hand to most tasks asked of you.

Ideally you will be able to Tig/Mig weld and have experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

You will be:-

17th edition qualified
Engineering degree or apprenticeship trained in a similar environment.
Experienced maintenance engineer
Proven track record of personal development.
