To operate the machines in the most effective manner, in an effort to maximise production, achieve service levels and minimise wastage of materials. Carry out routine daily maintenance and emergency stop / safety cover checks and complete daily and weekly checks and documentation where applicable
Keep the machine and the surrounding area in a clean and safe condition. Clear of slip and trip hazards.
Ensure all work related documentation is completed accurately. i.e. Quality Check sheets completed and any specific job related information
To ensure that all company Health & Safety rules are observed at all times.
Work on any machinery as instructed by the Production Management team, consistent attainment of agreed production targets within given timescales. Make sure all finished products meet specified requirements and quality standards. Accurate and legible recording of production related documents.
Able to quickly identify operating problems and act in such a way as to minimise down time
To demonstrate flexibility through being able to run different machinery
My client is looking for machine operators with experience in operating machinery, to be able to follow operational procedures, work under pressure to meet Service Level Agreements. Be able to document and complete all paperwork required. You will have the ability to understand written instructions and translate into machinery settings.
The working hours are 6am-2pm and 2pm 10pm, these shifts rotate every 2 weeks.
