40 hrs - Monday to Friday - Permanent Positions

Are you currently working as a machine operator or production operative and looking for an opportunity to learn a trade?

We have vacancies for 3 trainees who will train to work in the manufacture of bespoke footwear, insoles or plastic devices. You must have experience in machine operating or using hand tools but full training will be provided.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machines to manufacture footwear

  • Grinding and using a router to finish off products

  • Using hand tools and knifes to trim and finish items in production

  • Reading specifications and following instructions from clinician

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Confident using machines and hand tools

  • Strong hand/eye coordination and excellent attention to details

  • Ability to follow instructions and work on your own initiative

  • Be able to work to deadlines

  • You must be organised, proactive and efficient

  • You must be flexible in your work approach

The nature of the role is varied and can be fast paced so the successful candidate will maintain high standards when working to varying deadlines and specifications.
