About the Machine Operator/ Packing Operator role

We are looking for a detail-orientated individual who has production/ packing experience. This role is a fast-paced role where you will be processing and packing various own (Tate & Lyle) and customer branded products. Along with achieving company production targets, you will be helping to minimise wastage, downtime, re-work and maximising line speed. This role requires high attention to detail, as you will be required to adhere to BRC and customer standards by recording accurately the operational and traceability audits. The role allows you to demonstrate your initiate with proposing/ implementing continuous improvement ideas.

This role requires someone who has good teamwork, computer and problem solving skills. You must also have the ability to communicate effectively with the packing team, maintenance technician, suppliers and customers. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is keen to achieve and exceed targets. Initially as a machine/ packing operator you will be working on just the one line, once you have been training you will be able to work on numerous lines so that you can drive your career within Tate & Lyle Sugars.
