Machine Operator - Bottling

Overall purpose of a Machine Operator in the bottling area:
Safely and efficiently operate manual/semi and automatic machinery in the bottling area and if required operate equipment within the warehouse. Responsible for maximising output of the required quality. Demonstrates basic competence and basic technical understanding of the equipment. Other duties as required from time to time.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:-
Working on the bottling lines
Set and run machines
Get involved in machine tooling changeovers
Help other members of your team
Manage an area of production and temporary members of staff
Help label bottles on the production line

Skills/Experience needed for this Machine Operator role:-
Experience working as a Machine Operator
Experience working in a Manufacturing/Production environment
Be able to implement 5s and lean manufacturing methods
Previous experience training team members

Machine Operator Benefits:
Salary - £18,128 to £19,359 depending on your skills and experience.
Generous Pension contribution and a Profit Share scheme.
39 hour week - between Monday and Friday some flexibility required.
24 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years).
Excellent training and a clear path for progression.
Uniform provided plus cleaning allowance.
