Established since 1969, IAE are the UK’s largest manufacturer of livestock handling, feeding equipment and steel fencing. Due to continuing increases in the demand for our products, we are currently seeking machines operatives to join our expanding team.

We are looking to appoint machine operatives due to the investment of new machinery and exciting new expansion plans!
We are seeking operators, from all calibre of applicants from trainee to experienced operators. You will work as part of our busy production team and be responsible for operating machinery such as robots, lasers, lathes and a wide range of general machinery to ensure the production of quality products.
Duties will include:

• Operate various different machines

• Ensure that work is to IAE’s specifications

• Achieve daily set production targets

• Operation of overhead crane equipment

• Handling of steel products

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Experience working as a machine operator would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be offered to the correct candidate showing the right aptitude and commitment.

The above position will be rewarded with a permanent contract, excellent rates of pay, 28 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 32 days) and automatic enrolment into the company pension scheme.

Working 39 hours, Monday to Friday on a weekly rotational shift pattern of days and noon’s with the benefits of a shift allowance and company attendance allowance.
