Work within guidelines and procedures for production and custom product processes, following quality procedures, loading and unloading the machines, processing, preparation, packing and storage of product including paperwork and associated computer entries.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the Company’s Health and Safety Policy is adhered to
- Running production machines as and when required. Inspect where appropriate
- Prepare and pack manufactured goods as required including storing in appropriate areas
- Input the necessary items into the computer system and produce labels as required
- Produce and store manufacturing samples for quality purposes
- Isolating failed goods as required
- Ensure all goods are properly marked, stored and logged on the system
- Perforating, slitting, heat seaming and cutting duties as required
- Co-ordinate and co-operate with other departments where appropriate
- Institute good housekeeping practices and clean areas
- Undertake stocktaking functions and provide information on stock at short notice
- Notify supervisor of potential hazards
- Ad hoc duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- Machine Operative experience.
- FLT licence preferred
- A flexible and adaptable team member
- Good communication skills
Shift Pattern - Mon - Fri 6am-2.20pm / 1.40pm -10pm (Must have Safety boots)
£8.15ph (Whilst temp worker) Temp - Perm within 3 months.
Once taken on with the company -
Salary - £15,595 plus £500 shift allowance per annum
Plus up to £1000 per annum training allowance once fully trained on all aspects of the role/different machinery etc is completed
25 days holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays

Profit related pay (After ¾ months of being with the company)
