Machine Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager - the successful applicant will be required to provide a safety conscious electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance and repair service for all production machinery/equipment on a timely basis. You should also be able to identify improvement opportunities within the Maintenance Department.

Knowledge and Skills:

You need a good understanding of basic safety regulations and a working knowledge of safety devices.

Good computer skills and knowledge of Word & Excel and the ability to understand and interpret electrical & mechanical drawings and plans are essential.

You need to have 2 - 3 years working knowledge as a Machine Engineer which must include CNC machine tools.


A good general education and the successful completion of a Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical) or a City & Guild qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
