Machine Learning Engineer opportunity in Belfast - new Medtech organisation investing heavily in analytics.
Your new company
You'll work for a brand new entrant to the NI market - a Medtech organisation that have been in business for almost 15 years and count some of the leading organisations within the health/pharmacy world as their clients. This role is a strategic appointment as the company seeks to deliver their customers a true competitive advantage by appointing N.I.'s best data talent within it's ranks to develop outstanding products and solutions.
Your new role
Directing the organisation's analytics capabilities, you'll have the opportunity to develop new solutions using cutting edge tools and algorithms. Your key responsibility will be to analyse current data sets and identify supportive data sets for NPD in a highly collaborative and driven product environment. You'll claim ownership for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of these new solutions and directly influence company strategic decision making with your expertise and knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you should be educated to MSc or PhD level within an IT/mathematical/scientific discipline and have an intermediate level of experience. You'll be passionate about being hands on in developing algorithms/mathematical models whilst also taking a step up to being involved at a more senior strategic level. Ideally, you should have skills within cloud-based systems, be comfortable in a programming language (Java/Python/C++) and have a high level of competency in data modelling/manipulation. Your experience in Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Deep Learning are considerably attractive to your new organisation.
