M&E Quantity Surveyor Job

Permanent M&E Quantity Surveyor Job, Chesterfield area and paying between £45,000 to £50,000

A well established company providing 30 years of mechanical and electrical design services to the building industry. Continuously expanding and therefore has become a key player in the Building Services market.

Your new role
You will be managing a wide range of projects varying from retail to major commercial developments, producing procurement strategies and associated buying schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager. To procure sub contract packages, approve the sub contract orders ensuring compliance is met with specification, drawings and employers requirement. Project cash flow forecasts, prepare, submit and agree applications for payment ensuring a certificate is issued on time and invoice raised when appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
Require to hold a degree (or equivalent), to have a good working knowledge of quantity surveying within an M&E environment, to have excellent communication and organisation skills, to produce accurate reports, documents and to show the ability to negotiate.
