M&E Condition Surveyor Contract
Building Services Engineer required to carryout M&E Condition Surveys in Co. Antrim / Co. Londonderry
Your new company
Our client is a main land UK based specialist in Technical Estates Surveying, working with Government bodies, Local Authorities, Healthcare Services, Emergency Services and Education providers. They carryout audits, inspections and surveys on Statutory Compliance, DDA, Fire Risk, Space Planning, Environmental and Dilapidation.
Your new role
This is a contract position anticipated to last 8 weeks. The successful person will be required to undertake a comprehensive survey of a range of building in the Co. Antrim and Co. Londonderry areas.
You will work on your own, reporting to a Senior Engineer off site, planning and arranging access to systems coordinating with the onsite facilities team. All equipment will be provided to ensure you are able to carry out each inspection safely and in a timely manner.
Prior to commencing you will be given a full description of the check list reports which are required to be complete.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates with Degree or HND/C in the M&E Building Services sector, ideally with consulting engineering experience would be preferable. However, time served installation or maintenance Electrical, Refrigeration, Mechanical or Plumbing backgrounds will also be of interest although this position does not require any hands-on experience.
You must have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.

The hourly rate is £17 - £20 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
Business Mileage for use of your own vehicle will be reimbursed.
Hays can facilitate payment to self-employed limited contractor or via PAYE. Payments will be made weekly via BACS transfer every Friday morning.
