You will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students during their lunch break.
The ideal candidates will have good interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly, they will need to be reliable, punctual and flexible.
Specific responsibilities vary between schools; duties are likely include:
-Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other school premise,
-Making sure they do not leave the school
-Cleaning up spillages,
-Helping catering staff to clean tables and clear dining area
-Overseeing children in the playground and during wet play
-Monitoring the safety and suitability of activities
-Caring for the personal cleanliness
-Maintaining order, cautioning children who misbehave and reporting unresolved problems to the duty teacher.
-Making sure children receive medical attention if needed
If you do not hold a current DBS and haven't subscribed to the online service, you will need to complete a new DBS through Monarch Education.
