LPC Graduate/Paralegal

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Litigation Paralegal or LPC Graduate to join a public sector organisation in Northamptonshire.

This position is offered on a full-time locum basis with a predicted contract length of at least 3 months with the possibility of extension. Experience of working with a public sector organisation would be advantageous, however LPC graduates who are able to demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn as well as candidates with a background in private practice will also be considered.

The main duties for the role are as follows:

  • To assist a team of Lawyers in the provision of a professional legal service to a range of public sector clients regarding litigation matters.
  • To provide support to Lawyers and act as a point of contact on a variety of cases, to include taking instructions and giving advice, carrying out research, preparing applications, drafting documents and correspondence, commissioning and instructing expert witnesses, liaising with witnesses, attending meetings and providing advice and representation in courts or tribunals.

The position is offering an attractive rate of between £10 and £15 per hour depending on experience.

Flexible working hours and candidates who wish to work on a part-time basis will also be considered, however the client is ideally seeking support on a full-time basis.
