Logistics Manager - Based in Suffolk- circa £32,000

A hugely successful family business are now recruiting for a Logistics Manager. The company have been established for over 45 years and are recognised as one of the most respected organisation within their chosen field. After building a strong UK reputation they are now a supplier to international markets and direct to customers globally.

This newly created position is a pivotal role to the business and will work closely with different departments in the business, including; Sales, Customer Service and Production. As the new Logistics Manager, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy to run your depart in the manner you see fit. This will rely on you being a hard working professional with a real hunger to succeed. Key responsibilities include; Daily management of finished goods & 3PL partners; Organising stock control; Staff recruitment; Producing regular (daily, weekly & monthly) KPI reports and statistics.

You will need to be a strong people manager and have a proven track record in managing a Logistics Operations. As an individual, you will be an analytical thinker and be confident when planning, organising and prioritising work loads. You will have previous experience in an FMCG environment and have a good understanding of using ERP / MRP systems.
