An opportunity has arisen to join a market leading organisation as their new Logistics Manager. This company have developed their own original product and have been established for over 80 years.
In your new role of Logistics Manager you will play a pivotal part in the leadership and develop of the already successful Logistics team. The business has recently gone through new objectives for the 3, 5 and 10 years, and as the new Logistics Manager you will provide structure and optimisation to the planning, control, implementation and effective movement and storage of information, goods and services. Other responsibilities include; 3PL&4PL management across both Warehouse & Distribution in the UK and Worldwide markets; Overall stock management; Budget accountability (working closely with the Head of Logistics); Promoting a culture of positive safety behaviours.
You will be an experienced Logistics professional and a track record in managing the above areas. Ideally you will have experience working within FMCG or Food & Drink sectors. You will be a strong leader, with capabilities to build and maintain strong relationships. You will be commercially minded and able to stick well to the companies ongoing business strategy.
