Main responsibilities

The Speedy Logistics team are looking for a Logistics Data Analyst to join their award winning operation. As a Logistics Data Analyst you will provide support to the department by analysing and monitoring existing processes with a focus on continuous improvement and be able to provide consistent reporting on all areas of the logistics function. In this role you will investigate any problems highlighted and work with the wider logistics team to develop and provide solutions. Once the solution has been agreed, a project plan must be created with objectives and time scales clearly defined.

In this role you will work closely with the Senior Logistics Team, IT and any other relevant departments in the support and administration of Transport and Logistics projects. Projects will include but are not limited to:

  • Optimisation of distribution routes
  • Fleet configuration
  • Telematics
  • Fuel management
Ideal candidate

To be successful as a Logistics Data Analyst within Speedy you will need:


  • Project Administration or Support experience
  • Ability to complete intermediate tasks using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a fast paced office administration role providing support to Senior Staff
  • Excellent customer service skills


  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills
  • Transport and Logistics based experience
  • Understanding of the Speedy business operation and requirements
  • Understanding of vehicles and fleet management processes
  • PRINCE2/ITIL/ Project Management Experience
  • Experience of working within a logistics function
