Client Details

A rapidly growing manufacturer, that specialises in fashion, is looking to expand its Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain function in Leicester and establish themselves as one of the premier businesses in within its sector. The firm has seen vast growth during its small history and is looking for an ambitious, forward thinking individual to join their team as a Logistics Coordinator.

Description

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Calling customers and booking in the deliveries
  • Liaising with external stakeholders and hauliers
  • Responsible for Quality Checks of goods
  • Monitor stock on site
  • Supporting all senior managers on site
  • Identify and report stock shortages or damages at the earliest opportunity
  • Ensure all stock is accounted for from initial receipt, during storage & through to final delivery

  • Ensure accurate and prompt deliveries are made to the customer

  • Work closely with warehouse team

Profile

The successful applicant for the position will have the following skills and experience:

  • MUST have worked as a Logistics Coordinator
  • Have experience of corresponding with drivers and operatives
  • Ideally have worked for a leading Fashion or 3PL business
  • MS Excel Super User, highly preferable
  • Flexible with shifts
  • Knowledge of logistics and distribution
  • Red Prairie WMS experience
  • Commutable to Leicester
