A company specialising in securing and recovering critical water and waste resources are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work with the Logistics Manager. This is an exciting role to join a leading and dynamic company with a potential prospect of being part of their team on a permanent basis working 0900-1700 Monday- Friday.
Your new role
As the Logistics Coordinator you will work within a fast paced team who have a passion for delivering excellent targets. Your key responsibilities will be to coordinate the daily logistics dispatches across the UK and Europe, liaise with drivers to ensure timely collections and deliveries, ensure all vehicles are maintained mechanically and complete dispatch documents. The role will offer an opportunity to bring in new ideas and new ways of working to help advance the company. You will carry out import and export duties and track third party logistics movements as well as drive compliance and best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have experience in Logistics with a transport background. Practice in an industrial environment is preferred but not essential. You will need to possess a driving licence and available to travel within an assigned region. SAP experience is preferred but not essential.
