A well established manufacturing company who manufactures for some of the top clients within their sector.
Your new role
This is for a 6 week period initially to facilitate all exports and imports of goods to/from customer and suppliers. Plan and co-ordinate transportation of all materials and orders, Manage the timely flow of customer orders.Review and adhere to Customer supplied shipping/receiving and regulatory compliance procedures.Completion of government Export/import documents, complying with laws, regulations and standards, via various IT systems. Sales Invoicing & Credit for all Wholesale orders, liaising with credit control and accounts team. Stock allocation for forward orders, order book management (order status). Liaise with various couriers & freight forwarders, negotiation of rates and contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 2 years experience in Logistics/Exporting with ideally a good understanding of exporting documentation. Competent IT skills with good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
