Logistics Administrator - Are you a great communicator and able to build relationships with customers and suppliers even in hectic times? If so Spider are currently advertising on behalf of a pan-European leader in tailor-made transport, logistics and supply chain solutions, who are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Logistics Administrator to join them on a full-time basis.
As a Logistics Administrator you form a crucial part of the Customs team and will share the responsibility to deliver an ultimate customer experience by continuous contact with customers and suppliers, ensuring that service meets their expected criteria. You will co-ordinate Import and Export activities confirming to HM Revenue and Customs regulations following governing departments and organisation’s using the appropriate business systems were applicable.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Shipping overview
- Monitor and Record all imports and exports
- Customer order acceptance linked with administrative duties
- Updating customer tariffs
- Archiving documentation
- Ad hoc projects
As a Logistics Administrator, you possess excellent communication skills, organisational skills and are a strong team player. You will have good organisation skills, including ability to prioritise your workload. You will have a methodical approach to your work. You will need to have good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
This is a full-time, position working 40 hours per week, in return we are offering a competitive package in line with the seniority of the position.
