Locum Educational Psychologist: London

Our Local Authority client is seeking an experienced Locum Educational Psychologist to cover up to three days per week.

The successful candidate will be an experienced EP and will have worked within the public sector.

The team is highly committed and friendly and following prearranged appointments you will carry out assessments and deliver EHCP's to the very supportive PEP for discussion and approval.

If you believe in promoting a plan review approach, identifying and so building on children's strengths and working in collaboration with their teachers and guardians alike to achieve the best results, then this could be ideal for you.

The contract starts ASAP and is initially for 6 months. However, this could well be extended for up to a year and beyond for the right candidate. It will suit anyone seeking 2 - 3 days per week and in addition there is a degree of flexibility with regard to some work being carried out at home.

As an experienced Educational Psychologist you will:

*Be professionally qualified and HCPC registered as an Educational Psychologist.

*Have experience working as an EP in the UK (preferably two years, but this is subject to discussion)

*Be able to supply two names as references for your previous/current work as an EP

*Be happy to work within a time allocation system and responsible for the efficient, effective, clinical and professional delivery of Educational Psychology plans to meet the needs of the children, young people/adults and schools,
