Locality Manager

One of my clients are now recruiting for a locality Manager to join their rapidly expanding organisation who support both adults and children with Learning Disabilities and Autism. As Locality Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential services. If you have previous experience and knowledge of working at a high level within these settings, then this may be a fantastic opportunity for you.

As Locality Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing Residential services, shared responsibility with current Locality Manager
  • Transforming Care Agenda & Change Management with the ability to drive this throughout the organisation’s services & culture
  • To work with the Service Managers to drive compliance and safety throughout
  • Supporting managers with the development of care delivery and ensure high quality standards throughout services
  • To support the organisation through a period of growth
  • To be Line manager for registered managers (approx. 2-4)
  • Carrying out audits and compliance checks on services and ensuring these are all in place
  • Setting the foundations for growth - to bring out of 21st century
  • Work with managers to simplify and develop paperwork and plans and to streamline processes where possible
  • To work with managers and other Locality Manager to achieve consistency across all services in the delivery of care and practise
  • Support managers with the recruitment of staff and to deal with any staffing issues or challenges
  • To hold a strategic function in shaping the direction of the business and developing/implementing strategic plans
  • Work with managers and locality managers to address any HR issues, review of trends and work to develop these

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in line management of registered managers and services
  • Experience with Transforming Care Agenda & Change Management.
  • Knowledge of learning disability, autism, forensic services/provisions
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience and knowledge of overseeing outstanding services
