Job Title:Loans Agents (Applications Administrator)
Main Purpose of the Role:
Reviewing new customer’s applications received and ensuring all the details are correct prior to funding.
Summary of the Main Duties:
·To be responsible for processing first time customer applications, which includes ensuring all customers fully understand our product, confirming personal details and carrying out affordability assessments.
·Offering a friendly, professional and helpful point of contact and ensuring all our customers are treated fairly.
·Listening to customer queries to ensure the best outcome is achieved for our customers, whilst providing excellent customer service.
·Follow the Company’s responsible lending policy and procedure, ensuring a responsible lending decision is made.
·Achieving daily and monthly individual targets.
·To answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers as well as communicating via email to our customers.
Skills / Education and Attributes
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to manage own work load and to work to deadlines.
·Good listening skills and a personable approach.
·Good administrative skills and with an attention to detail.
·Work as an effective team member, to be co-operative and support others.
·GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualification).
·Previous customer service or telephone experience.
·Previous experience working within the financial services marketplace or regulated environment.
·28 days, incl. Bank Holidays, per annum, with an additional day per year of service (capped at 33 days).
