Litigation Solicitor

• Location: Bedfordshire - 2 days per week in the office
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)
• Salary: £50,500 - £58,000 p/annum

Reed Legal are recruiting for a Senior Litigation Solicitor to join our client's team in Bedfordshire. This role involves providing a professional and innovative legal service predominantly in civil and criminal litigation, employment, and education matters.

• Provide legal advice and services on a wide range of public law and litigation matters, including civil actions and judicial review matters.
• Attend courts and tribunals, undertaking advocacy as required.
• Supervise junior members of the litigation team to ensure high-quality, well-researched, and comprehensive legal advice.
• Act as a legal advisor to client organisations, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and obligations.
• Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties.
• Support the leadership team in building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients.
• Promote the business and identify further areas of development for existing and potential work streams.
• Comply with all practice management requirements including time recording, billing, SRA Compliance, Lexcel, and other accreditation schemes.
• Develop and provide legal input for training courses for professional clients.
• Deputise for the Principal Lawyer (Litigation) as required.

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in litigation.
• Strong advocacy skills and experience in courts and tribunals.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
