We are proud to announce an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious, self-driven solicitor to join a new business as a Litigation Solicitor, specialising in financial mis-selling claims. This is a new business, so there is real scope for the successful candidate to make their mark. My client is looking for an experienced solicitor, preferably with post qualification experience of litigation in the fields of financial mis-selling and matters involving the Consumer Credit Act 1974. They should also possess in-depth knowledge of the Civil Procedures Rules and have experience of both fast track and multi-track claims.  

This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities covering conducting and co-ordinate complex proceedings in both fast track and multi-track. You will maintain your own caseload and meet your own targets in conjunction with advising the Management team on the merits of prospective claims. You are a self-starter who is used to working in a fast paced environment; you will also be responsible for the support and development of more junior members of the firm.  

Ideally you are a qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales with at least 3 years PQE and have proven experience as a litigator, ideally within a highly regulated business environment. You have significant practical experience and knowledge of Financial Services and the Consumer Credit Act 1974. With excellent interpersonal skills you are seeking to develop your career in a can-do and mutually supportive environment.
