Your new company

A general, commercial firm based in Belfast city centre are now recruiting a senior legal secretary with defence litigation experience to join their well-established office on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new role

In your new role you will mentor junior secretaries and deal directly with clients, mainly insurance companies, on a variety of defence litigation matters. It's important that you have previous experience of handling files with deep knowledge in this specialist area.

Duties will include;

- Junior Secretarial mentoring and management
- Case handling
- Client contact
- Dictations
- Audio Typing
- Faxing
- Arranging diary appointments
- Arranging Court dates
- Photocopying/making up papers
- Preparing inventories of productions
- General administrative duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have 3+ years' experience as a defence litigation secretary
Proven experience of managing more junior secretaries
Excellent case management experience and proficient with the use of Microsoft office packages
Friendly and professional telephone etiquette
