This well-established firm advises businesses and individuals on a wide range of matters, looking to deliver commercially focused solutions in a cost effective manner. The firm is now looking to recruit a paralegal to assist with a range of litigation matters. The firm has a solid reputation for litigation and dispute resolution including company, partnership and shareholder matters; debt recovery; insolvency; IP and fraud and asset recovery. Other areas of note are swaps mis-selling, professional negligence, and insurance claims. The firm also has a particularly well-known team dealing with commercial property litigation. You will be undertaking a range of administrative tasks to support the litigation team in general and should have a good background understanding of legal processes and procedures, and previous experience with commercial property litigation would be very useful. This role is located in the vibrant centre of Stratford, east London and is well served by public transport, including Stratford underground (Central and Jubilee line) and the DLR.
The firm is looking for someone flexible, reliable and with a great ‘can do’ attitude and a real team player;
You should have a strong academic background, and ideally, some previous experience working in a litigation department; familiarity with commercial property litigation would be very advantageous;
Fluency in a second language would be very useful.
