Litigation Legal Assistant

Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Litigation Legal Assistant. You will provide fee earning support within the Real Estate Disputes team to help deliver great service to our clients and will have the opportunity of conducting your own caseload under supervision.

Your key duties will be:

  • working closely with a Partner to provide excellent client service
  • having regular contact with clients and their customers
  • providing paralegal and administrative support to the team
  • opening and closing files and conducting conflict searches
  • dealing with general correspondence
  • handling telephone calls, and handling queries and enquiries where appropriate
  • producing forms and documentation
  • drafting documents

Skills and experience you will have:

  • a minimum of 6 - 12 months previous paralegal experience dealing with contentious work
  • experience of using a case management system

Key competencies you will need:

  • good attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to prioritise workload
  • strong IT skills and fast, accurate typing ability
  • drive, enthusiasm, commitment and a team player approach
