Job: Litigation Executive
Location: Manchester - Cheshire
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 pa
RTA, mis-sold Mortgage, Debt Recovery, Housing disrepair
MPeople Recruitment are working in collaboration with a specialist Litigation Law firm based in the North West.
Having been industry leaders for several years, our client is currently looking to expand the litigation team within various sectors covering RTA claims, Mis-Sold Mortgage, Debt Recovery and Housing Disrepair.
There is no limit to progression with this firm, if you are a career driven litigator with a passion for the industry, this could be your next big career opportunity.
Your new company is looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual who has had experience within litigation, the right candidate will have a desire to win, be ambitious and this will be rewarded with a strong salary and career progression within the firm.
You will be analytical and have strong investigative skills, being able to manage multiple case-loads at a time.
You will enjoy working in a busy environment and enjoy a challenge and be interested in research, have a strong work ethic and a positive forward thinking attitude.
Below are some of the key skills required for the role:
- Manage multiple cases upward of 150 at a time
- Claim progression from inception to completion
- Assessing evidence - decisions on liability
- Dealing with difficult and complex cases
- 3rd party management - external solicitors, insurers, cost drafts-man
- Litigate on fast track claims where liability/quantum is disputed
- Strong negotiation skills
- Legal correspondence preparation
- Occasional attendance at court - preparing bundles, approval hearings
- Produce high value schedules of loss
- Enjoy working in a fast paced and energetic environment
- Strong business acumen and a natural self starter
The role is not restricted to the above criteria and may vary depending on your responsibilities for the day. The position is a fantastic opportunity for someone recently qualified who has worked within a litigation team or someone looking for a challenging change of division.
