The Willison Sports Centre is based within our client’ school and was established and officially opened in 1994. With a swimming pool on their Campus in Roade, our client also offer sporting facilities across both of their sites in Roade and Deanshanger. It has been the hub of sport and leisure in the community since opening, providing facilities to the surrounding areas of Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes areas.
Lifeguard - The Willison Sports Centre (3 x posts)

*increased premium pay rates after 8pm on weekdays and for Sunday working
Our client is looking for approachable, well-organised NPLQ qualified lifeguards to provide effect supervision and take responsibility for the health and safety of all pool hirers/users and ensure all our poolside activities are promoted and run effectively. Supervision of the poolside and surrounding areas is required to ensure safety at all times. Daily checks such as Chlorine levels, PH levels & water temperature, equipment storage, assistance with bookings, swimming lessons and general cleaning to ensure maximum hygiene at all times.
Regular monthly lifeguard training sessions are held at the venue whereby all lifeguards are required to attend in accordance with employment terms and conditions.
The successful candidate will be based at the Roade campus and this role requires working closely alongside fellow lifeguards, office staff and the Sports Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will be methodical and well organised with excellent interpersonal skills.
Hourly rate will be £10.49 per hour (which includes holiday pay) with increased premium pay rates after 8pm on weekdays and for Sunday working. Hours of work will include a combination of mornings, evenings and weekends; successful candidate will be worked into a rota system.

- Have a good understanding and the ability to deliver excellent levels of customer service
- Have to meet the person specification with the relevant qualifications and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure
