Our client is a market leader in the provision of process development solutions for the BioProcessing, Biotechnology and BioPharmaceutical sectors. They are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join their team as Account Manager.
This role is extensively focused on development of new business using a mix of cold calling, email and face-to-face meetings, to grow and develop the territory around London, Oxford and Cambridge.
A home-based role, you will also spend around 50% of time visiting customers to understand their requirements in more detail, and offer solutions involving the company’s extensive product range.
Degree in Life Sciences with industry experience in the biotech or biopharma sectors.
Proven sales experience in a relevant scientific field.
Product knowledge to include filtration, purification, fermentation, single-use technology, cell-culture, media and buffers.
Strong understanding of Fluid Management Technology in the biotech sector.
Strong written and telephone communication skills.
Ability to motivate others from a distance.
Ability to sell over the phone and on email.
Good at developing business relationships.
Resilient, self-organised and structured work ethic paired with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
Full Driving Licence essential.
