As a luxury fashion company with a strong ethical standpoint we are leaders and innovators in our industry.OverviewThe Licensing Manager will report into the Global Licensing Director, and is responsible for managing the Beauty, Kids & Adidas Licence operations. The Licensing Manager role will oversee and drive these licenses by ensuring an effective balance of commerciality and respect of the Stella McCarney brands values is adhered to. This role will work collaboratively with the Licensing and Special Projects Communications Manager, Global Marketing and Design department internally. The Licensing manager will also collaborate closely with the Licences to ensure perfect external alignment and will be their main Stella McCartney contact.Your Mission:
  • Responsible for developing the collection structure in partnership with both Stella McCartney Beauty, Stella McCartney Kids & adidas x Stella McCartney, and the design team.
  • Follow through the development of the product categories from initial design meetings through to the final launch including all approvals.
  • Regularly prepare relevant market and competitor research, analyses markets trends, advise on product opportunities
  • Ensure royalties target achievement.
  • Ensure respect of Licenses agreements by partners
  • Define yearly royalties target and participate to the 3-year plan construction with Global Licensing Director
  • Follow up with quarterly results vs budget and monitor growth per market/line, alert on risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of quarterly Licenses reporting, highlighting opportunities and points of improvements per product, distribution channel, markets and present to Global Licensing Director and top management
  • Organize and Lead updates with partners on a weekly basis, ensure Stella McCartney interests during meetings
  • Support the Licensing Director to keep and maintain relationships with each partner, by supporting to preparing decks for reviews and key meetings.
  • Overview of all accounts approvals for Stella McCartney
  • Maintain and reinforce the relationship with Stella McCartney buying and retail teams to drive licensing categories including incentive programmes and training documents.
  • Work closely with the Gifting department to make sure licensing products are ordered within deadlines represented in seasonal gifting to editor/VIPs etc
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as key external licensing teams.
  • Support the Licensing and Special Projects Communications Manager in defining each Licences priorities, strategies and plans.
  • Administration, filing, booking couriers and general office duties as required
  • Closely following and keeping within Licensing budget; namely research, travel and Design Consultants days worked
Your Talent:
  • Confident in presenting to senior management
  • Commercial and financial acumen, key account management appreciated
  • Proven track record for strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to build effective, professional relationships with individuals and teams both internally and externally
  • Keen interest/experience in the luxury fashion industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and be proactive
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high energy environments
  • Comfortable working additional hours to perform duties
