Excellent opportunity for a LGV mechanic or senior vehicle technican to join a company that will offer you a varied and challenging role with the chance to develop your skills sets and become qualified to maintain HGV and plant machinery.
Based in Swindon this company specialise in the service of plant machinery for a variety of industries.
In this role you will servicing and maintaining LGV and general vehicles. This will be a site based role but you will also be traveling around the local area in the company van.
After you are comfortable working on LGV's you will be given in house and out house training to develop your skills and gain qualifications ion HGV and engineering plant maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or similar and have experience working on vehicles and LGV. Candidates that already have HGV or plant experience will have an advantage.

*Service fleet vehicles as and when required.
*Preparing LGV's, Cars and Vans for MOT, ensuring a pass result.
*Repairing the vehicles as and when needed to a high standard.
*Working as part of a small team, ensuring all jobs are completed within a timely and high standard.
*Very hands-on job.
*Abide by the safe working procedures of a Mechanic.
*Any other tasks as requested by your supervisor, which are consistent with the purpose of the role and needs of the customer.
*Full driving license
*Senior mechanic or LGV servicing experience.
*Hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical field.
