LF19268 - Neonatal Resuscitation/Simulation Facilitator

This exciting position is vacant, waiting to be filled with a dynamic, forward thinking and autonomous Nurse with enthusiasm including a sense of humor.  The post is a new post which is evolving constantly in line with new research and technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the high quality delivery of NRP and simulation throughout Grampian to all health care workers who may be involved with Neonatal Resuscitation.  Education is a high priority within the service as Aberdeen is the only Level 3 referral centre in the North of Scotland.

The Neonatal Unit has 38 cots for premature and newborn infants with both medical and surgical problems. We also operate a regional Neonatal Transport Service.  Due to current vacancies we have opportunities for Children’s Nurses to join our team.  You will be qualified in specialty with broad experience post qualification.  There is an invested interest in an, in-service education program to support orientation and learning. By 2022 the new Baird Family Hospital will be open which will house a bespoke Neonatal Unit with a 44 cot capacity where the highest priority will be to deliver a family integrated care model to all families.
